Message on Campus Closure

After careful consideration and extensive deliberation, New York Institute of Technology announced on February 10, 2026, that it has begun the process of closing its Vancouver campus. This decision was not reached lightly. Our Vancouver campus has been proud to educate thousands of engaged and talented students over the years. However, during the past 24 months, the campus has experienced a significant decline in enrollment due to reductions in the number of study permits available to international students.

As a result, no new students will be enrolled after this spring 2026 term.  We are developing a teach-out plan for our current students in Vancouver to facilitate the timely completion of their degrees and smooth transitions for all.

Additional details will be published shortly.
