Withdrawal and Course Drop Refund Policy

Withdrawing

Students withdrawing from New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver campus must complete a Withdrawal Form at the Vancouver Office of the Registrar. Tuition liability is based on the date of withdrawal determined and recorded on the withdrawal form. The College Fee is not refundable.

Please note that any student who withdraws before or during their first academic term, in addition to the tuition liability set forth above for any registered classes will also be responsible for an amount equivalent to a three-credit tuition charge, at the then-current tuition rate, in accordance with the Admissions Deferral and Tuition Deposit Refund Policy.

Dropping Courses

Students may add and/or drop courses during the add/drop period as defined on the academic calendar.

Dropped courses will be charged in accordance with the following schedule as long as the drop does not result in a full withdrawal from courses for the term. Students who drop to zero credits are considered to have withdrawn from New York Tech Vancouver and are subject to tuition charges in accordance with the “Withdrawing” section of this policy.

Courses dropped before the end of the add/drop period will be 100% refunded; there will be no refund for courses dropped after the end of the add/drop period.
