New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver is committed to empowering students to achieve their academic and professional goals while maintaining high standards of excellence. Aspiring students interested in our computing-based graduate programs who do not yet meet the admission criteria may be eligible for conditional admission.

Students who lack a bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT engineering, or sufficient coverage of the necessary math courses, will receive a letter from the associate dean outlining the specific foundation courses required for admission. Students may be required to take one-to-two additional on-campus prerequisite courses.

Students wishing to transfer into the program from another graduate program will be assessed individually.
