Vancouver Faculty (Commencement)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to hold the planned Graduation Ceremony in June. Once we have confirmed an alternative date, we will contact everyone as soon as possible. Please keep your student contact information up to date so that we are able to contact you.

Faculty Arrival and Line-up

ALL faculty should report to Chan Centre on graduation morning by 10 a.m. The faculty lounge will be located at Chan Centre backstage and will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The lounge will offer regalia pick-up and drop-off, snacks, and nearby restrooms. Please arrive early and allow yourself time to park.

Regalia

All faculty (including members of the staff and administration who require regalia) will be able to wear their own school regalia on graduation day. New York Institute of Technology gowns will be available as well. There is an inventory of gowns to accommodate most needs.

Parking

Parking on campus is limited. Faculty members may park at The Rose Garden Parkade that has the quickest and easiest access to the Chan Centre. Payment machines are located on level 3 and 5 of the parkade, and do not accept bills. Credit card or coins only, please.

Security/Access to Downtown Campus Offices

Please be advised that all downtown campus offices will be locked on June 4. Faculty will not be able to access their offices; accordingly, if you have your own regalia, please bring it with you on June 4.
