With a combination of core and elective courses, our MBA program is flexible to fit your needs. The general MBA consists of 24 core credits and 6 elective credits, plus a 0-credit graduate communications course. Additionally, some students may need to complete up to 9 prerequisite/waivable credits online before starting the program at our Vancouver campus.

To be considered for the MBA program at New York Tech Vancouver, you must have:
- Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants with a GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be eligible if they have at least two years of work experience.
- Proof of English proficiency is also required:
- IELTS Academic (6.5 overall, 6.0 in Speaking and Writing)
- TOEFL iBT (88 overall, 18 in Speaking, 21 in Writing)
- Pearson Academic (65 overall, 60 in Speaking and Writing).
- Completion of the University Pathway Program from a partner school is also accepted.
Some applicants may be required to complete the prerequisite courses before the admitted term start date. Review our flexible prerequisite course options.
New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver is offering an MBA Entrance Academic Scholarship for prospective students who will start in either the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester. We also offer a Domestic Student Scholarship for Permanent Residents of Canada and Canadian students who will start in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
The School of Management’s M.B.A. program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a distinction earned by just five percent of business schools worldwide.
