The MBA with a concentration in Finance includes 24 core credits, 12 concentration credits, and a 0-credit graduate communications course. Depending on your prior education, you may need to complete up to nine prerequisite credits online before starting the program at our Vancouver campus. Our flexible options accommodate diverse educational backgrounds and career aspirations.

Program Details

To be considered for the MBA program at New York Tech Vancouver, you must have: 

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution  
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. Applicants with a GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be eligible if they have at least two years of work experience.  
  • Proof of English language proficiency. 
  • Successful completion of the University Pathway Program from one of our partner schools.

Some applicants may be required to complete the prerequisite courses before the admitted term start date. Review our flexible prerequisite course options. 

New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver is offering an MBA Entrance Academic Scholarship for prospective students who will start in either the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester. We also offer a Domestic Student Scholarship for Permanent Residents of Canada and Canadian students who will start in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. 

The School of Management’s Master of Business Administration program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a distinction earned by just five percent of business schools worldwide.
