Program Details

You must possess the following credentials in order to be considered* for the Cybersecurity, M.S. program at New York Tech Vancouver:
- Four–year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Minimum GRE score of 295 (if required)
- Proof of English Language Proficiency:
- IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.5 (NOT GENERAL) with a minimum of 6.0 in Reading, Listening, and Writing, and a minimum of 6.5 in Speaking. IELTS indicator is not accepted.
- TOFEL iBT:88 with a minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, 21 in Writing. TOEFL iBT home is accepted.
- Pearson Academic (PTE): Overall 65; with a minimum of 60 in Reading, Listening, and Writing, and a minimum of 65 in Speaking.
- Successful completion of the University Pathway Program from one of our partner schools (must be completed in person)
Students in New York Tech Vancouver’s Master of Science in Cybersecurity program can have the CSCI 651 – Algorithm Concepts course requirement waived if they meet certain requirements.
New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver is offering a Domestic Student Scholarship for Permanent Residents of Canada and Canadian students who will start in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
