New Student Orientation (Vancouver Campus) – Fall 2022

Welcome to the #NewYorkTechVancouver community! New Student Orientation is a mandatory program for all new students, and with help ease your transition into university life in Canada and New York Tech Vancouver.

Fall 2022 orientations will be offered in-person.

Fall Orientation Dates: Tuesday, August 30 – Friday, September 2, 2022

To Kick off Orientation Week, “Welcome to New York Tech” Presentation will take place Tuesday, August 30th at 9:00 A.M. PDT.

Doors Open for Check-In Begins at 8:30 A.M. PDT

Location: Italian Cultural Centre

This mandatory first session will give you all of the information you need to know about our campus, student resources, our different services department, and all of the things you can look forward to as a New York Tech Vancouver student.

Only registered, Fall 2022 New Students are permitted to attend our orientation week events. Registration for remaining New Student Orientation Week Events and Workshops are emailed out to all successfully registered students to sign up further – please make sure you register for New Student Orientation Week through the link below!

During orientations, you will get the chance to explore your student services, resources, and academic support systems. You will learn about:

  • Your Academic Program
  • Our Student Services Departments
  • Student Support Resources
  • Social Engagement Activities

We will communicate all logistical details for Fall 2022 New Student Orientations via email, so please make sure to check your preferred email regularly.

What is a New York Tech Mentor?

A New York Tech Vancouver Mentor is a current student who is studying in your program. They were in your shoes and can help you navigate your transition to our institution, Vancouver, and Canada.
